Kite without a thread
One day
a child was flying a kite. The kite was flying higher and
higher.
The child was
directing the kite according to the wind.
The kite was flying
smoothly. It wanted to fly higher and higher above the stars and reach the moon.
At that time a bird came flying. The bird was surprised seeing a paper flying this high. By praising
the kite the bird said," even birds can't fly this high". The kite
replied with arrogance. “I can fly higher than this. The thread tied up is
not letting me fly higher."
The bird
said," I will cut the thread for you, so that you can fly to the moon.
"
The bird cut the
thread and made the kite free; but suddenly the kite started flying without
control and got stuck on a tree.
Moral: Sometimes we feel we can progress
quickly, if we were not tied up with our family. But we fail to realize
that they are not holding us back, but are guiding us.
